Seller and payment processing

Plain Finance Tools creates and supports the digital resources described on this website. Payments, taxes, receipts, and payment-related customer service are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for purchases made through its checkout.

The product, price, currency, included files, compatibility information, and any usage limits shown on the product page and at checkout form part of your purchase. The amount charged may include taxes determined by Lemon Squeezy from the information supplied at checkout.

Delivery and access

Products are delivered digitally. After a successful payment, Lemon Squeezy provides a receipt and access to the files or delivery link associated with the order. No physical item is shipped.

You are responsible for entering a working email address and for keeping your receipt or download link available. If delivery fails, the link does not work, or the files appear incomplete, contact support@plainfinancetools.com so we can restore access or provide an appropriate remedy.

Personal-use license

Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, a purchase grants one customer a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and modify the files for that customer’s own planning. You may keep reasonable backup copies.

You may not resell, sublicense, share publicly, distribute the original files or modified versions, remove ownership notices, or present the product as your own. Buying a product does not transfer copyright or other intellectual-property rights.

Compatibility and customer responsibility

Supported formats and tested software are listed on the product page. You are responsible for confirming that you can use at least one supported format before purchasing. Third-party software and services may change after the product is released; we will describe known material compatibility limits but cannot guarantee every device, spreadsheet application, browser, or future software version.

Digital resources provide educational tools and examples. They do not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and they do not guarantee a financial result. You remain responsible for the assumptions you enter and the decisions you make.

Refunds

Our Refund Policy provides a 14-day request period and explains how we handle duplicate charges, failed delivery, technical defects, and other requests. Approved refunds return to the original payment method. Access to refunded products may be withdrawn.

Updates, availability, and liability

A purchase includes the version and files described at checkout. Future major products, services, or upgrades are not included unless the offer says they are. We may correct errors, update files, or stop offering a product, but customers retain the rights already granted for files they validly purchased.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, Plain Finance Tools is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of a digital resource. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded in the customer’s jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

The terms shown at the time of purchase apply to that order. We may update these terms for future purchases and will change the “last updated” date when we do.
